WEEK OF MARCH 30, 2009
Things are changing! I am sure those of you who frequent
the complex often will notice a huge change! The modular home/office
is gone! I sold it this week and it has been moved offsite.
Also, the post framing has begun! Next week you will see big
changes too...the roof trusses have been delivered and will
be installed next week. Also, the mason will begin construction
of the front masonry wall next week! Things are just flying
along! Now...hopefully it will quit raining so that we can
keep on track! Photos of the Week
WEEK
OF MARCH 23, 2009
I am sure all of you have noticed some activity out at
the complex! All of our base is down for Building K and compacted.
This week our contractors are digging holes for the building
footers. And, we are preparing to move the old office (modular
home). This will be going away! Our temporary office will
be in units 2 & 4 in Building L. This will both the sales/leasing
and construction office. Stop in an see us if you need anything!
WEEK
OF JANUARY 11, 2009
Happy New Year everyone! I just got back from the Ohio
RV Show! It was a great week and procured 2 new clients who've
reserved in Building K and 2 new prospects who are just on
the cuff! We started pushing some dirt in preparation for
construction commencement on Building K. Now we just need
to get the weather to cooperate with us!
WEEK
OF MAY 5, 2008
We finished pouring the other half of the main driveway
apron! We also graded and seeded the east detention basin!
It is going to look nice!
Most importantly...we
passed our FINAL ELECTRICAL INSPECTION!! We are hoping the
get our final Building Inspection within the next 2 weeks...All
contract holders should have received an email or voice message
from Jodi regarding any options...please touch base with her
before May 15th!
WEEK
OF APRIL 14, 2008
The weather this week was fantastic! We have finished
pouring concrete on the West and South sides of Building L.
No vehicle traffic for 2 weeks! It looks great!
We, in
conjunction with the other 2 Associations onsite, have also
poured 1/2 of the entry driveway apron! What a difference.
Once this side cures, we will pour the other side.
We estimate
that we are about 3-4 weeks (at the earliest) away from our
Occupancy Issuance. The West side is drywalled, the ceilings
are in and the floors and walls are painted. We just rounded
the corner at the South end and are making our way back up
the East side. The drywallers are mudding and the painters
are pushing right at their heels. Next week we will begin
working on the CCTV and Access Control systems and then we
will begin are rounds of punch lists! Not too much longer!

WEEK
OF March 3, 2008
All of the drywall is hung and even though it is cold
and snowing outside...we are heating the building in order
to finish the ceilings and mud the walls! Everything is underway!
The first few units on the west side are even painted already!
Wow, they look fantastic! The drywallers did a great job on
the ceilings!
We've run into one snag...our intention was to paint the masonry
firewalls (regarding units that are against the firewall)
but have found that it just looks terrible! Since it is an
interior wall, there is no structural benefit to painting
it, we just thought it would be more aesthetically pleasing.
This is just not the case. We are going to finish painting
the first firewall on the north end, but we are not going
to paint any of the remaining firewalls.
All of the garage doors are hung and the overhead door contractor
is going to begin hanging door openers. Also, cameras should
be going in soon!
WEEK
OF February 4, 2008
All of the Insulations is in and complete. We passed our
Insulation inspection! All of the drywall is hung in the entire
building! The drywallers should start working on finishing
the ceiling next week. All of the overhead garage doors are
almost hung...there are only 4 or 5 to go! They should all
be hung by the end of the week...so we can keep the weather
out and start heating the units so the drywallers can start
mudding. Things are cruising along! Photos

in the south half. We are continuing to drywall the north

WEEK
OF AUGUST 13, 2007
We are still finishing up some mudding in the North half
of the building, and we've been painting the South half! By
the end of this week we hope to have all of the units in the
South half of the Building painted (walls & ceilings).
We are also working on texturizing the ceilings in the South
half. The garage door installer is also going to start hanging
overhead doors this week too.Photos of
the Week
Also,
I don't know if you've heard, but we had a meeting with ODOT
last week and they are telling us that St. Rt. 18 in front
of our complex will be completed by the end of September,
of this year!
WEEK
OF JULY 30, 2007
All of the ceiling insulation is now in and CORRECT -
Fiberglass blown-in! We are continuing to hang drywall and
we've began mudding! Photos of the Week
WEEK
OF JULY 9, 2007
We have built all of the north half of the building interior
partition walls and we are continuing to drywall. The insulation
contractor also began to remove the incorrect insulation in
the ceiling of the South Half of Building H. Photos
of the Week.
WEEKS
OF JUNE 25 & JULY 2, 2007
During these 2 weeks we have built the South Half of the
Building paritions, installed wall insulation and have begun
drywalling the interior partition walls. We have also completed
our CCTV Surveillance System on the Building and have installed
the Security Card Readers to access the Overhead Doors. It
has been a busy week. We have only had one setback throughout
this construction process...the insulation contractor installed
the wrong type of insulation in the ceiling of the South Half
of Building H. He blew in cellulose instead of fiberglass.
So no they have to remove everything they blew in and replace
it with the correct insulation. Unfortunately this will push
back our occupancy 2-4 weeks. See our Photos
of the Week.
WEEKS
OF JUNE 11 & JUNE 18, 2007
Throughout these two weeks we are continuing to hang drywall!
The ceiling on the south half of the building is hung. The
ceiling electrical is completed. And, to date we have passed
all of our inspections. See our Photos
of the Week.
WEEK
OF JUNE 4, 2007
The concrete is ready for activity! Last week we completed
the front masonry wall and began the interior electrical work.
This week we are continuing electrical work and have taken
delivery of our drywall and insulation. Insulation and drywall
installation began this week too. See our Photos
of the Week.
WEEK
OF MAY 14, 2007
All of the concrete is poured...and will need to sit 2
weeks before anyone can drive on it. The ceiling electrical
work is set to get started. See our Photos
of the Week.
WEEK OF MAY 7, 2007
The roof complete, the firewall is complete, the siding
is complete and half of the building's concrete floor is poured!
Things are moving...We hope to finish the concrete floor next
week. See our Photos of the Week.
WEEK
OF APRIL 30, 2007
The
roof is just about complete and the firewall is completed.
We're just about ready to pour concrete! See our Photos
of the Week.
WEEK
OF APRIL 16, 2007
It
was a very productive week! Building H is framed and the trusses
are set! Friday we began sheeting the roof and the we are
ready to build the firewall! See our Photos
of the Week.
WEEK OF APRIL 9, 2007
It
has been a busy week. Even though we've had some snow...and
rain, we were still able to begin placing the poles for the
foundation and setting them for Building 'H'. We've also begun
the pad excavation & grading for Building 'L'! We figured
we'd might as well prepare Building 'L' to build. The estimated
completion for Building 'L' is this Winter. See our Photos
of the Week.
WEEK
OF APRIL 2, 2007
Things
are moving!! With a week of good weather we were able to get
the pad excavated, graded and finished for Building H! If
you have stopped by lately you will notice some changes with
Building H's location and the back property appearance! The
back is graded and completed according to the Board of Zoning
specifications! Next week we expect to start setting poles
in the foundation! See our Photos of
the Week.
WEEK OF JANUARY 15, 2007
Well the
good news is that all of our permits are in place. Also, the
building construction contract was awarded. We are still waiting
for the ground to dry up a bit or freeze before commencing
with the pad for Building H. I hear next week is supposed
to be cold. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
WEEK OF DECEMBER 11, 2006
Most of the storm water system is installed
and completed. We have also completed the fire hydrant system
extention for Building H. This has been an unbelieveably warm
December and I never thought that I'd be saying that is too
wet outside. We are waiting for it to dry up a bit or freeze
in order to begin laying the pad for Building H. We are still
on schedule for an early Summer occupany.
WEEK
OF NOVEMBER 27, 2006
Well actually let me give you an up-to-date
update....since this my first journal entry. All of our plans
have been approved by the Township and we have begun construction.
We have moved over 4800 yards of dirt in order to level the
ground for building and to create the proper building elevations.
Also, all of the storm water piping, catch basins and outlet
structure has been delivered onsite. Our plans, pending the
weather's cooperation is to set the outlet structure for the
detention basins and to extend the fire hydrant lines for
Building H. We expect to be completed in Late Spring/Early
Summer 2007. I will continue to keep a journal of progress,
check back and stayed tuned!
